It’s kindof hard to believe that the 35W bridge just decided it was a good day to fall into the freaking mississippi river. I really cant believe it. A buddy and I are going to go check out the scene on sunday to see the wreckage and take some photos. While there are still 30 or so people missing, the death toll is only at 5 which is low in my opinion.
So, I got some cool shots last night while I was hanging out with Josiah, his brothers Joel and Jared. It was a fun night. Check out my flickr account for more photos.
I’ve been on a folk-rock-americana music kick latley. Lots of Tom Petty, Ryan Adams, old school Elton John, The White Stripes, John Mark McMillan and Led Zepplein. The newest Ryan Adams album; Easy Tiger is really good. It has a nice mix of calming and bittersweet folk tunes coupled mysterious lyrics but also rocks out when need be. My favorite song thus far is called “Oh My God, Whatever, Etc.” as well as “The Sun Also Sets”.
Last night a buddy from highschool, my sister and I went to go see The Plastic Constellations play at Summer Music & Movies put on by the Walker Art Center. It was a good show. My co-worker Jeff is in the band, and it was nice to see him outside of work doing his thing. Then the 3 of us continued on our journey over to my sisters house to sit on the deck (on the 4th floor) for a while. It was so hot and sticky out yesterday that being up on the 4th floor worked to our advantage; being able to catch a nice breeze from the top.

It was a good night.
So I went out to visit my school and took some pretty good photos! Enjoy!

I hung out with Paul last night and we wandered around and took photos. He actually taught me how to use my camera, too. It was a really fun night. Check out my flickr account to view them.
